Orange Peel Restaurant

Orange Peel Restaurant is located at No. 2820 in the Sathya SAI Complex in V V Mohalla. Mysore is a bit more relaxed than other cities, and V V Mohalla is a nice part of town to be in. We’ve been operating out of this complex for a while now. We aren't a big flashy place with neon signs. We just have our name on the front and some tables inside. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. We start early in the morning, getting everything prepped for the day. It’s a lot of peeling, chopping, and boiling. We don’t use any corporate slogans or have a list of core values on the wall. We just want to make sure the food is cooked right and the plates are clean. The staff here are locals who live nearby in 570002. We have regulars who come in and sit at the same table every time, and we know exactly what they’re going to order before they even say it. Sometimes the delivery bikes outside make a bit of noise, but usually, it’s a quiet enough spot. We spend the slow hours in the afternoon wiping down the menus and checking the stock. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t have a fancy story about how we started; we just opened up because we wanted to run a restaurant in our own neighborhood. We just take it one day at a time here.
