New Mylari Restaurant

We are tucked away on Nirmitha Kendra Road in the 2nd Stage of Telecom Layout. Being in Bogadi, Mysore, is a bit different from being in the city center. It’s a bit more relaxed here, though we still get our fair share of crowds near Harsha Bar. Our address is No 8, and the restaurant is quite a basic setup. We don't have a big menu, just the items we’ve been making for years. Every morning we start grinding the batter and getting the chutney ready. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are always busy. The place isn't very big, so customers often end up sitting close to each other. We don't mind the noise, it makes the place feel alive. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit, but we don't stop. People come to Bogadi specifically to find us, which is nice to see. We don't use any fancy machines, just the old ways of cooking that we learned a long time ago. The floors are a bit worn down from all the walking, but that’s just a sign of how many people have been here. We just keep doing the same thing every day, making sure the food is ready and the coffee is hot for whoever walks in. It’s a quiet life most of the time in Bogadi, and we just like making sure our regular customers are happy when they leave our place.
