Mysore Nandhini Andhra Style Restaurant

We are located on Irwin Road in Mysore, right near the KSRTC bus stand and the Lashkar police station. Since we are so close to the main bus station, we get a lot of people who are just passing through the city. They are usually in a hurry to catch their next bus. We serve Andhra style food, so things tend to be a bit spicier than the local Mysore dishes. The restaurant stays busy throughout the day with people coming and going. You can hear the buses honking and the general noise of Irwin Road from inside. It is a bit of a hectic spot to work in, but we have gotten used to the pace. We have a simple setup with rows of tables where people can eat their meals quickly. The kitchen is always full of the smell of chilies and garlic. My team and I spend a lot of time just keeping up with the orders and making sure the floors are wiped down. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is just a practical place for a meal. Sometimes we run out of the daily specials by late afternoon because the crowd was bigger than we expected. We just take things one day at a time here. It is not a quiet place, but it is a real part of the busy life near the bus stand. We just keep the doors open and the food coming out as fast as we can.
