Mysore Mylari Family Restaurant Pure Veg

Our restaurant is located in Manasagangothri, which is the university area of Mysore. We are tucked behind the Step Office and near Jss College. Because of where we are, we see a lot of students and professors every single day. We keep things strictly vegetarian here. The space is simple with basic tables and chairs. It is often quite noisy with people talking about their classes or exams while they eat. We focus on the Mylari style of food which is very traditional around here. My cooks start their work early to get the batters and chutneys ready. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with cleaning and serving. The atmosphere is very casual, like eating at a friend's house. Sometimes we get very busy during the exam season when students don't have time to cook for themselves. The area around Manasagangothri is a bit quieter than the city center, which is nice. We have our regulars who come in every morning for their tiffin. We don't use any fancy machines, just the usual kitchen tools. It can get a bit hectic when a large group from the college arrives all at once. We just do our best to get the food out quickly. It is a modest place and we just focus on our daily routine without making much of a fuss about things. We have been here for a good while and plan to stay for more years to come if things go well.
