La Gardenia Restaurant

You can find us inside the Regaalis Hotel on Vinoba Road. We are at No.13/14 in the Chamarajapuram area of Mysore. Being part of a hotel means we see a lot of different people, from tourists visiting the palace to locals who just want a meal out. The restaurant is just a place where we cook. We don't have a big philosophy about it. We just get the kitchen started early in the morning. There is always something to do, like peeling sacks of onions or making sure the tablecloths are straight. The air in Mysore is usually nice, and Vinoba Road is a decent place to be. We have a crew that has worked together for a long time. We know who is good at making coffee and who is better at handling the lunch rush. It’s not always perfect. Sometimes a dish takes too long, or we run out of napkins during a busy Sunday. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be a five-star fancy spot with tiny portions. We just serve food and hope people enjoy their time sitting down. The walls have some marks, and the chairs are broken in, but it feels like a real place. We spend most of our time in the back or moving between tables. It’s just a regular restaurant job in a quiet part of Chamarajapuram. We are here at 570005 for anyone hungry.
