Hyderabad Biriyani

You’ll find us in Mysore, over in Devaraj Mohalla on New Sayyaji Rao Road. We are located right next to the RMC Market, which means it’s always busy around here with trucks and vendors moving goods around. The energy of the market definitely spills over into our shop, especially in the early mornings when everything is waking up. Our address is 11/A, and we’ve been part of this street for quite some time now. Inside, it’s just a straightforward setup with tables and chairs where people can sit and eat without any fuss. We spend a lot of time in the back dealing with the big cooking pots and making sure the fire is just right for the biriyani. It’s a sweaty job, especially during the summer months in Mysore, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a fancy website or anything, we just rely on people seeing us while they’re out shopping at the market. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the lunch rush starts and everyone is shouting their orders at once, but we manage to get through it. The floors get a bit dirty from all the foot traffic, so we are always sweeping up. It’s a local place for local people who just want a full stomach before they go back to work or head home. We just keep our heads down and keep the kitchen running as best as we can every single day.
