Hotel Guntoor (Guntoor Restaurant)

Hotel Guntoor is up here on Kalidasa Road in V V Mohalla. We are situated right above Casino Park, which most people around Mysore know pretty well. Panchavati Circle is just a short walk away, so it gets quite busy with traffic and people moving around during the day. We’ve been operating from this d-1/3 spot for a bit now. It’s not a huge place, just a regular restaurant where we try to keep things moving. Most mornings start early with cleaning the tables and getting the kitchen ready before the first lot of people show up. The area has changed a lot over the years, with more shops opening up along the road, but we stay put here. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and the lighting is just standard stuff you’d find anywhere. It’s mostly locals who stop by, people living in the Mohalla or folks working in the nearby offices. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It's just a space with chairs and tables where you can sit down for a while. The kitchen staff stays busy most of the time. We see the same faces often, which is nice. Finding us isn't too hard since we are near the circle. If you are walking down from the main road, you’ll see the sign above the park area. It’s a practical setup we have here. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a local spot in Mysore 570002. We've been here long enough that the sounds of the circle don't bother us.
