High Park Revolving Bar And Restaurant

We are located on Devaraj Urs Road in Mysore, which is one of the more well-known streets in the city. The restaurant and bar are special because the floor actually rotates very slowly while you eat or drink. It takes about an hour or so to make a full circle. Because of this, you get to see different parts of Mysore from the windows without even moving from your chair. It’s an older building and the mechanism for the revolving floor has been working for a long time. People usually come here in the evening to see the city lights. We have a bar section and a dining area with regular tables. It isn't a very large place, so it feels a bit tight when it’s full. The furniture is basic and the staff focuses on getting orders right. Devaraj Urs Road is always busy with shoppers and traffic, so being up here gives you a bit of a break from that. It’s a bit of a local landmark because not many places revolve like this one does. We don’t put on any acts, it is just a place to have a beer or a meal and look out at the view. Families come for the novelty of the rotation and others just come for the bar. We've seen a lot of people celebrate birthdays here over the years.
