Dum Biriyani Palace

Our place is situated at 442 Chamaraja Double Road, right near the Ramaswamy Circle in Mysore. It is a great location because everyone knows where Krishna Bakery is, and we are right next to it. Dum Biriyani Palace is a busy little spot. Mysore is a city that loves its food, and we try to keep up with that. The pots are always steaming, and we spend a lot of our morning just getting the firewood and the coal ready for the dum. It is a messy job, and our clothes usually smell like smoke by the end of the shift, but that is part of the work. The dining area is simple with basic tables and plenty of water on hand. We get a lot of travelers who are just passing through the circle, as well as locals who have been eating here for years. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just rely on the fact that people like the smell of the spices coming from our kitchen. The traffic at Ramaswamy Circle can be a bit much sometimes, but we are right in the middle of it all. It is a straightforward business where we focus on the food and not much else. We keep serving until the last pot is empty, usually every single day.
