St Joseph Senior Secondary School

This school is right on Brahampura Road in Muzaffarpur. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded around there. We are in the 842003 zip code zone. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have the older kids who are always in a rush to get somewhere. The building is right there on the main road, so we get a lot of noise from the horns and the local market nearby. We’ve got a staff room where we sit and drink tea when we have a break. It isn't a very quiet place, but it has a lot of energy. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the students to show up. Muzaffarpur gets really hot in the summer, so we have fans going in every room. Sometimes the electricity is a bit spotty, but we just deal with it. The halls are narrow and the stairs are worn down from years of people walking up and down. We have some old cupboards full of files that have been there forever. It’s an honest place. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for school in Brahampura. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hands. It's just home for us and our work.
