Gurukul School

Gurukul School is in Kanti, Muzaffarpur, at the 843109 location. It is a school for the local kids in the neighborhood. The building is a regular one with a small gate out front. We have a courtyard where students stand for prayers in the morning. Inside, the classrooms are filled with wooden desks and benches that have seen some use. We teach the subjects that are required, like math and language. It gets quite noisy when the classes change or during the lunch hour. Kanti is a place where everyone knows each other, so the parents often stop by to talk. We don't have any big flashy signs or digital boards. It's just blackboards and chalk here. The teachers are mostly people from around here who know the families. During the summer, it gets hot, so the ceiling fans stay on all day. We have a small cupboard for books and a desk for the head of the school. It’s a very simple setup without any extras. We just try to make sure the kids learn what they need to. The playground is just a small open area where they run around. We don't have a big sports field. Most kids walk to school from their homes nearby. It's a very normal part of the community in Muzaffarpur. We’ve been here for several years now. We just do our job teaching the children.
