Grandview Prep. School

Living and working around Rewa Road means dealing with a lot of traffic, especially near Bhagwanpur. Our school, Grandview Prep., is tucked away on Bajrangpuram Road No 2, which is a bit quieter than the main drag but still gets its share of bustle. The building is a simple structure that we have added to over the years as more families moved into the neighborhood. You will often see the staff arriving on scooters, dodging the puddles if it has been raining lately. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—chalkboards that never get completely clean and posters that have started to curl at the edges because of the humidity. We don't have a massive field, but the kids make do with the space we have, playing ball during the breaks. The parents here are mostly working folks from the area, so we see them in the mornings dropping their little ones off before heading to their own jobs. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, and the fans overhead hum constantly while the children struggle to stay focused on their grammar or sums. There is always a stray dog or two hanging around the entrance, hoping someone drops a bit of their lunch. It is a plain, hardworking kind of place where we just focus on the daily tasks of teaching and keeping things running without any big fuss or fancy airs.
