Shri Sai Public School

Shri Sai Public School sits right in the Sonar Patti area of Brahampura in Muzaffarpur. If you are walking through the market streets, you will eventually find us. It is a busy part of town with lots of shops and people moving about, so there is always some noise coming in from the outside. We have a regular routine here that starts early in the morning. The building is an older one, but it serves the purpose for the local kids who come to study with us. We do not have a massive playground, but there is enough space for everyone to stand together during the morning time. Most of the teachers have been coming here for years and they know most of the families by name. We spend our time going through the lessons and making sure the homework is finished. In the rainy season, the streets around Sonar Patti can get a bit muddy, but the students still show up with their bags ready. We have some desks that have been here for quite a long time and some newer ones too. It is just a local school where we try to keep things organized. No one here is trying to be anything other than a teacher or a helper. We just open the doors, do the work, and then head home once the final bell rings in the afternoon.
