Central Public School

Out here in Vikas Nagar, things are usually pretty steady. Our school sits right on Chandmari Road in Chapra and has been part of the landscape for a long time. It’s a busy part of town, especially in the mornings when the buses and cycles are moving. The gates open early and there’s always someone sweeping the front area before the first bell rings. It’s not a quiet place, that's for sure. You can hear the teachers talking through the open windows when the breeze is right. We have a lot of local families sending their kids here. The building has seen a lot of seasons and could probably use a bit of touch-up here and there. In the monsoon, the road gets a bit muddy, but everyone still shows up on time. We don't do anything flashy. It's just classrooms, a small playground, and a lot of notebooks. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the people around here well. When the school day ends, the whole street fills up with kids walking home and talking about their day. It’s a bit chaotic but in a good way. We keep the registers updated and make sure the benches are in good shape. There’s always a bit of dust because of the road work nearby, but we keep the rooms clean enough for the students. It's just a regular school doing its daily job.
