Sehbhagi Kisan Producer Company Limited

Sehbhagi Kisan Producer Company Limited is based in Village Shahpur, under the Ramraj post office in Muzaffarnagar. We are a group of farmers from this local area who decided to join forces. The name "Sehbhagi" basically means participating together, and that’s exactly what we do. We didn't want to keep struggling with the markets on our own, so we formed this company. Our office in Shahpur is where we keep all the records and have our meetings. It’s a very basic setup, nothing fancy at all. Most of our work is done in the fields surrounding the village. Muzaffarnagar is a place where people know their farming, and we are just trying to keep that going. We don't have any corporate slogans or big promises. We just work hard and try to see that everyone in our group gets a fair shake. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, or the prices in the market drop, and that’s when being together really helps. We share what we know and help each other with the equipment and the seeds. It’s a very down-to-earth way of doing things. If you ever find yourself in Shahpur, you can ask anyone where the Kisan Producer Company is. We are usually around, probably busy with the current crop or fixing some machinery. It’s just regular life for us here in Muzaffarnagar.
