Prajanya Traders

Prajanya Traders is based out in Village Kheri Karmu. We are right in the village, near the post office in the Shamli district. It’s a rural life here, so things don’t move as fast as they do in the big cities. Most of what we do involves trading items that people in the farming community need. Our warehouse is basically a large shed where we store bags of grain, seeds, and sometimes tools or hardware. It’s dusty work, and there are always trucks pulling in and out of the yard. We know just about everyone in Kheri Karmu since it’s a small place. People stop by not just to buy things, but to talk about the weather or how the crops are doing this season. We don’t have any fancy computers for our records, just some big ledgers where we write everything down by hand. Sometimes we have to travel into Shamli town to pick up supplies or deal with the bank, but we prefer staying out here in the village. The air is better, even if the roads are a bit bumpy and full of mud when it rains. We don't have a big staff, just a few local guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading. It’s a simple business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to make sure we have what people are looking for when they walk through the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night.
