You can find us over at Anoop Singh’s place in Koomhidadiya Budhana. It’s a bit out of the way, but we like it that way. Jai Shiv Baba Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is what we called it because we wanted something that felt right for our community. We deal with agro products and farming things every single day. Anoop Singh is the one who handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff at the house there. Budhana is a good place to be if you like the quiet and the dirt. We aren’t really into marketing or anything like that. We just grow what we can and try to make sure everyone in the group gets a fair shake. The days start early, usually before the sun is even fully up. We have a lot of work to do with the crops and the machines. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them. It’s not always fun, but it’s the life we chose. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you just come by the village and ask for Anoop. We are usually somewhere nearby. It’s a group effort, honestly. Everyone puts in their time and we see how it goes at the end of the season. It’s just practical living and working together in Koomhidadiya. We do what we can.
