Gyan Sagar Traders

We are located at Shop No 79 in Kisaaan Bazar, right on Balaji Road. Gyan Sagar Traders is in the middle of the New Mandi area. It is a very loud and busy place to be every day. We are near Choudhry Transport, so there are always big trucks coming and going. You have to be careful when you are walking across the road because of all the traffic. We deal with trading different goods that come through the market. The shop is usually full of bags and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. My desk is tucked in the corner and it is covered with papers and old pens. I don't use a computer for everything; I still like using my ledgers to keep track of things. The farmers come in very early in the morning to talk about prices and see what is happening in the market. We drink a lot of tea while we talk. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come over to complain about the heat or the state of the roads. When it rains, the ground outside gets very muddy and messy. It is hard work and the days are long, but we have been here for years. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. People in the Mandi know where to find us. We just try to get our work done and keep things moving.
