Bankey Bihari Enterprises

Bankey Bihari Enterprises is tucked away in Ward No -8 in Budhana. We are right near the Kotwali Road which stays busy with people going back and forth all day. The shop is not huge but we keep it packed with all sorts of things people might need for their daily work. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a lot of people come in at once. We open up early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high, and start moving boxes around to make space. The dust from the road comes inside so we are always wiping down the counters. It is just a family-run kind of thing where we do everything ourselves. We do not have a computer for everything, so we still write a lot of things down in our register. Sometimes we forget where we put a specific tool or a piece of stock and have to spend twenty minutes looking for it behind the taller boxes. It is just part of the day. Neighbors stop by to chat about the news or the local politics while they wait for their orders. We don't do much advertising because most people in Budhana already know we are here near the police station. We just try to keep enough stock so that no one goes away empty-handed when they make the trip out to see us in this part of town. (246 words)
