Zippers India

Down on Princess Street, specifically at No. 3 Gopal Bhavan, is where you’ll find our little operation. Being on the ground floor is a blessing because we move a lot of heavy boxes. Zippers India is basically what it sounds like. We have thousands of zippers in every color and length you can imagine. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves. 199 Princess Street is a busy building, and there are always people rushing in and out with handcarts or clipboards. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk here because someone is always asking for a specific type of brass slider or a nylon coil. It gets pretty loud with the street noise and the fans humming, but we like the buzz. We’ve been in Gopal Bhavan long enough to know all the other shopkeepers around. Most of our day is spent counting out stock or checking invoices. It’s dusty work, and your hands get a bit dirty from the metal, but that’s the trade. We don't have a website that works properly, so most people just call us or show up with a sample of what they need. We try to be helpful, even if we’re in the middle of unloading a new crate. It’s just a regular wholesale spot. If you need zippers, you just come to the ground floor and look for us. We’ll be there among the boxes.
