Zara Events

Zara Events is tucked away on the 1st Floor at 33/35 Picket Road in Kalbadevi. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Kalbadevi can get. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now, focusing on putting events together. It’s a small office, but it serves us well for meeting people and sorting out the details for various functions. We deal with all the usual stuff that comes with events, like finding vendors and making sure everything arrives where it’s supposed to be. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about event planning. There is a lot of running around and making sure the logistics are right. Living and working in Mumbai means we have to be quick. The Picket Road area is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes. We handle things as they come, whether it is a small family event or something a bit larger for a business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work day in and day out. Sometimes it's late nights and early starts, especially when an event is actually happening. We just try to stay practical and get through the checklist for each job. It’s a lot of coordination with different people across the city. Being centrally located in Kalbadevi helps us reach most places easily enough, even with the crowded streets. We just do the work and keep things moving along.
