Z News operates out of 135, Contenetal Bldg, which is on Dr A B Rd in Worli. We are also near Old Madras Road in J R Puram. It’s a bit of a spread-out area but we manage from our office here. The building is one of those typical busy places where everyone is in a hurry. We spend our time looking at screens and talking about what’s happening. It’s a news office, so things move fast, but we don't try to act like we’re some big global empire. We’re just local people trying to keep track of things. The desks are usually covered in papers and half-empty cups. Worli is a central spot, so there’s always something going on outside the windows. The traffic on Dr A B Road is something else, you can hear the honking all day. We’ve got our setup in the Contenetal Building and it works for us. It’s not the newest place, but it has what we need to get the job done. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. People just come in and start working. Sometimes we stay late when a story is breaking, other times it’s a bit slower. We just take it as it comes. Being near J R Puram gives us a good base. We just do the work and try to stay on top of the daily cycle.
