Z Events

Our spot is tucked away behind the Lalbaugcha Raja Market, right in the heart of Mumbai. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets, especially during the big festivals. We are based in the Lalbaugcha Raja Cooperative Housing Society. Z Events is basically just us working through the chaos of this city to get things done. Living and working in Lal Baug means you get used to the noise and the constant movement. It’s a tight community here. We spend a lot of time just coordinating things on our phones while walking through the market lanes. Sometimes we have to carry stuff through those narrow gaps when the trucks can't get in. It isn't a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It's more of a practical space where we store our gear and plan out the next setup. We’ve lived in Mumbai long enough to know that things rarely go exactly to plan, so we just learn to fix things on the fly. Being near the market helps because if we run out of something last minute, we can usually find a shop nearby that has it. It’s just the way things work here in Lal Baug. We don’t do big fancy presentations. We just talk to people, figure out what they want for their event, and then go out and try to make it happen without too much fuss. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy.
