Yummy Delights

Being on the 2nd floor of Sagar Kunj Housing Society is interesting. It’s right at Malabar Hill, across from the Resend Hotel on Nitin C Road. Yummy Delights started as a small idea in a kitchen and now we have this space at No. 7. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a nice enough spot once you’re inside. We deal with food, so the place usually smells like whatever we are prepping that day. The society is mostly quiet, but being near the hotel means there’s always people walking around. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. Usually, people just know us by word of mouth. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big order, and sometimes the lift doesn't work, which makes moving supplies a pain. But we make it work. It’s a small group of us here. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule. If there’s work to do, we stay late. If it’s quiet, we have some chai and talk about the news. It’s a honest way to make a living. Malabar Hill is a fancy name, but our office is just a regular room with some tables and equipment. We try to keep things clean and organized, though it gets messy when we're busy. We aren't experts in business, we just know how to make things people like to eat. We hope the neighbors don't mind the cooking smells too much.
