Tokyo Treat

Tokyo Treat is found over at the Sailesh Building, specifically in units three and four. We are right on August Kranti Marg in Mumbai, which is usually a very loud and crowded street. Being near Cumballa Hill Hospital means we see a lot of people walking by at all hours. Some are visiting patients and look a bit tired, while others are just rushing to work. The shop is not very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have our counters and the kitchen area where we spend most of our time. It gets quite warm in the back when all the equipment is running. We start our day early to get things prepped before the main lunch crowd shows up. Sometimes the delivery bikes get blocked by the traffic on the main road, which can be a bit of a headache. We try to keep the place organized, but on busy afternoons, there might be a few boxes sitting out or some crumbs on the floor that we haven't swept up yet. We are just a local spot trying to serve the neighborhood. It is a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but we like talking to the regulars who come in every week. The building itself is an older one, so it has its own little quirks and sounds. We just do our thing and hope people enjoy what we make while they are here.
