Siddhivinayak Snacks Centre

Siddhivinayak Snacks Centre is located at Shop No 1 in the Patnani Building. If you know Wadala, you know the 10th A Main area gets quite a bit of foot traffic, especially near the Bank of Baroda. We have been working out of this small shop for some time. It is not a very big space, but we make it work. Most of our morning is spent prepping the dough and getting the stove going. We see a lot of people stopping by while they are walking to the station or just running errands in the 3rd Block. The building itself is older, and you can see that in the walls and the ceiling. We put out a few stools for people to sit, but most just stand and eat quickly. It is usually pretty humid here in Mumbai, so the fans are always running at full speed. We get our supplies delivered early, often before the sun is even fully up. It is a busy routine, and sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected. We don't really do anything fancy here. It is just snacks and quick bites for the local crowd in 400031. Usually, by late evening, we are tired but we keep going until the shutters go down. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least their faces. It is just a regular local snack shop.
