Kolhapuri Chivda

Kolhapuri Chivda is over on Girgaon Road in Mumbai. We are at Shop No 237 inside the Naik Building. If you know the area, we are right opposite Mangalwadi, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Girgaon is a very traditional part of the city, and our shop has been here for quite some time. It is a small space, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. The street outside is always full of people and cars, so it is never really quiet. Being in the Naik Building means we have been part of the local scene for years. Most people who live in the chawls and apartments nearby know exactly where to find us. We do not have a big website or a lot of fancy signs. We just have our shop number and the name out front. It is a very honest kind of place. We spend most of our day just working behind the counter and talking to the people who stop in. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We just keep doing what we know how to do. The address is 400004, and we have been at this same spot for as long as I can remember. It is just a regular Mumbai shop on a regular busy street.
