We are based in the Posiedon building on Yari Road. We’re in wing A, apartment 1003. Being in Versova gives the place a different feel than the rest of Andheri. It’s a bit more relaxed, even though the traffic on Yari Road can get pretty bad in the evenings when everyone is coming home. Since we’re on the tenth floor, we get a bit of a breeze if we open the windows, which is nice during the humid months when the air feels heavy. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it has a kitchen and a bathroom like a regular home would. It makes the work day feel a bit less formal than sitting in a glass box. We’ve got our desks set up in the main living area, and the bedrooms are used for storage and a small meeting space when needed. It’s not a corporate skyscraper with a fancy lobby. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist sitting there to greet you. Usually, if the bell rings, one of us just gets up and opens the door to see who it is. The walls are mostly bare except for a few notes pinned up. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or on the phone. Sometimes we can hear the neighbors next door or the sounds from the street way below us. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done without too many distractions. At the end of the day, we just lock up and head out for the evening.
