Avik Pharmaceuticals Limited

Our place is inside the Gauri Studio Compound, right off the Western Express Highway in Andheri East. Being at Arvind Chamber means we are right in the middle of all that Mumbai traffic. You can hear the vehicles rushing by on the highway all the time. Avik Pharmaceuticals Limited is mostly an office and a bit of storage space. It’s quite cramped inside because of all the files and boxes. We have a few different departments squeezed into the rooms here. The hallway is narrow and someone is always walking through with a stack of papers. We deal with a lot of documentation and regulatory stuff every day. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and typing or talking to suppliers on the phone. We take our tea breaks when we can, usually standing near the window watching the cars outside. The building is an older one, so the elevators are sometimes a bit slow. We don't have fancy glass walls or a modern lobby. It’s just a regular workplace where people are busy with their specific tasks. We know the security guards and the other people in the compound. It’s a familiar routine. We get in early to beat the worst of the highway congestion and stay until the work is done. It’s a solid, busy environment where everyone knows what they have to do to keep things moving.
