We work out of Acme Plaza on the Andheri Kurla Road, right in the heart of Andheri East. It’s a crowded area, as anyone who works in Mumbai knows. The traffic outside is constant, and you can always hear horns honking from our windows. This is where Sun Pharmaceutical operates from. Most of the time, the office is a beehive of activity. We have people on phones, others staring at spreadsheets, and a lot of tea being drunk throughout the day. We deal with medicines, which is serious business, but the atmosphere in the office is pretty casual. We’ve got desks piled high with files and sometimes the air conditioning acts up, making it a bit stuffy. We aren't the types to wear suits every day unless someone important is coming by. Most of us just want to get through our tasks and catch the train home without too much trouble. It’s a lot of coordinating between different sites and making sure the numbers add up. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve seen the buildings around us go up and down. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep a level head. There isn't much time for standing around and chatting, though we do catch up in the break room when we can. We just do our part in the big chain of getting medicine to where it needs to go. It’s just work, at the end of the day, and we do it.
