We’re located at Jolly Bhavan No. 1 on New Marine Lines, which is a pretty well-known spot if you spend any time near the courts. Our office is on the fourth floor, room 417, and we share the space with Mr. Tushar Shridharani. The building is one of those old-school Mumbai structures with high ceilings and heavy doors. We do a lot of manufacturing for diamonds and jewelry here, so the place often has the sound of small tools clicking and clacking. It’s not a retail shop where you’d come to browse; it’s more of a workshop and admin hub. The walk from Churchgate or Marine Lines station is quick, which makes it easy for us to get to work every morning. We have a few long tables where we sort through materials and a couple of computers for the records. Sometimes the hallways of Jolly Bhavan get really crowded with delivery guys and lawyers, but we just stick to our corner. The light in the office is okay, though we use extra lamps for the detailed work. We keep things pretty simple. There aren't any mission statements on the walls or expensive furniture. We keep a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the weather gets rainy outside. It’s just a place where we put in the hours and make sure the jewelry is handled correctly. It’s a decent enough place to spend the day.
