P. N. Gems

Our office is located on the third floor of the Panchshila Building, specifically in unit 7C 4, over on Danji Street. It’s right in the heart of the busy diamond and gem district. P. N. Gems has been in this building for quite a while now. It’s not a large space, but it’s where we do all our sorting and grading. You won't find big signs or flashy window displays here. We mostly work at our desks with loupes and scales. Danji Street is always full of people moving quickly, and our building is no different. We spend most of our time looking at small stones, checking for flaws, and deciding how to group them together. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of concentration and patience. We aren't really set up for casual walk-ins who just want to browse around. Most people come here with a specific purpose in mind. We’ve been around gems for a long time, so we’ve learned a thing or two just by seeing so many stones pass through our hands over the years. We don't have a corporate marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the stones. We take pride in being accurate with our descriptions. If a stone has a speck in it, we say so. It’s better to be honest than to have someone unhappy later on. That’s just the way we like to do things here in this office.
