World Wide Courier Service

World Wide Courier Service is based at Shop No 3 on the Main Road in the Cardinal area. We are in Andheri East, right near the old cigarette factory. That factory is a big landmark around here, so it’s how most people find our little shop. It’s a small place, mostly filled with boxes and piles of envelopes waiting to be sorted. Every morning starts the same way, with the delivery vans pulling up and us trying to get everything organized. It can get pretty frantic when the deadlines are close. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The Main Road is always noisy with traffic, but it makes it easy for people to drop things off on their way to work. We don't have any fancy software or anything, just our logbooks and a few computers that have seen better days. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to do everything by hand, which is a bit of a headache. We handle all kinds of parcels, some going across town and some going much further. It’s interesting to see what people are sending. We aren't part of some massive corporation; we just run this local branch. The staff is just a few local guys who know the shortcuts around Andheri. We try to keep the shop tidy, but with all the bubble wrap and tape, it’s a constant battle. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes.
