Our office is at No. 8 112 on V. V. Chandan Street. We are based in the Piperwala Building. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. Anm Courier Cargo Pvt. Ltd. deals with a lot of boxes and packages every single day. The office usually has stacks of crates waiting to be moved. It’s not the cleanest or most organized place, but that’s the nature of cargo. We’ve got people coming in to drop off stuff and drivers waiting for their manifests. V. V. Chandan Street is narrow and can get pretty clogged with vans. We’ve been working out of this building for a long time. The walls have some scuffs from all the boxes being dragged around. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the door. It’s a straightforward way of working. We handle local deliveries and some stuff that goes further away. Everyone here works pretty fast because the trucks don't wait. We have a small team, and we all know the routine. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting. Sometimes the fans don't work, so it gets a bit warm, but we just keep moving. It’s a practical business in a practical part of town. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure addresses are right so nothing gets lost. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the items moving to where they need to go eventually.
