Whimsical Events

Whimsical Events is based out of Malad West, right along the Service Road at number 307. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic noise is just something we’ve gotten used to over the years. We handle all sorts of event stuff from this small office. It’s nothing fancy inside, just some desks and a lot of binders full of notes. We started out small, helping friends with their parties, and it just turned into a business. It’s a lot of work, mostly sitting around and trying to figure out how to make things fit into a budget. We don’t have a big team or a corporate structure. It’s just us and some people we hire when things get really busy. Malad is a great area because you can find almost anything you need nearby. Sometimes we get stuck with weird requests, but we just do our best to figure them out. It’s not always glamorous like people think. A lot of it is just checking lists and making sure the vendors actually show up. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of things. There’s no big sign out front, just our name on the door. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the city, just trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us. That’s about it for us. We just take it day by day and try to keep things moving.
