Vyas Sweets Dry Fruits is located down in Goregaon West. To be more specific, we're on the ground floor of the Shamanna Reddy Building. It's right near the Yellamma Temple. We also have a spot at Shop No 3 in the Anand Bhavan Chawl area. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address, especially with the Konappana Agrahara and Electronic City parts mixed in there. People usually just find us by looking for the sweets near the temple. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights and uniforms. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the glass cases clean and the containers full. The Goregaon heat can be a lot, but we keep the shop as cool as we can. We spend a lot of time sorting through almonds and cashews. It’s repetitive, but someone has to do it. Vyas Sweets Dry Fruits has been a part of the daily routine here for years. We see the same faces every morning. We don’t have a website or a social media manager. We just open the shutters, set out the trays, and wait for the customers. It’s a simple way to run a business. The building is old, and the chawl is always noisy, but that is home for us. We just keep doing what we do and try to get the orders right. The morning tea is usually when we plan our day.
