Vivek Verma Architect

Vivek Verma Architect operates out of the Ground Floorl Tarahiranand. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in when they have a question about a building plan. It’s not a huge office, just enough space for a couple of drafting tables and some storage for old files. Vivek is usually around, unless he’s out at a site visit. We handle a lot of different things here, from small renovations to bigger builds. It’s mostly just sitting down and drawing until the layout makes sense. We don't use much fancy talk. If a wall shouldn't be there, we tell you. If the plumbing is going to be a problem, we say so. It’s better to be honest about those things early on. Tarahiranand is a busy enough area, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We’ve got stacks of catalogs and building codes lying around. The space looks like a real workshop because that is exactly what it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby or leather chairs. We just want to get the drawings done right and make sure the client knows what they are getting into. It’s steady work, and we like the rhythm of it. Every day is a bit different depending on which project is currently being built or designed. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work.
