Brighton Architects India Pvt Ltd is located over in the Pipe Line Zopadpatti area. It’s a name that sounds a bit grand, but our actual workspace is very grounded and practical. Being in this part of town means there is always something going on outside our windows. There is a lot of noise and life right on the doorstep, which keeps us on our toes. Inside, the office is mostly taken up by long tables where we spread out our drawings. We have been here for some time now, and we have grown used to the quirks of the building. Sometimes the lights flicker when the neighbor turns on a heavy machine, but we just keep working. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a sales team. If you call, you just talk to one of us who is actually doing the drawing or checking the site measurements. Our days are filled with the usual stuff like checking local building codes and trying to figure out how to fit a client’s big ideas into a small space. It is often a bit of a puzzle. We drink a lot of tea and spend way too much time looking at black and white lines on our monitors. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the process of seeing a sketch eventually turn into a real structure. We just focus on getting the drawings right and making sure the math adds up.
