Our place is located in the Patel Industrial Estate in Kandivali East, right across from Thakur College. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always busy with deliveries and workers moving about. We focus on displays, so our space is often filled with metal frames, glass, and lighting components. It’s a practical workspace where we assemble things. You’ll find us mostly in our work shirts, probably holding a screwdriver or looking at a blueprint. The noise from the estate is constant, but you stop hearing it after the first week. We deal with a lot of different people who need stands or display units for their shops. It’s a lot of manual work, getting everything to fit together properly. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch of displays before the truck arrives in the morning. We’ve been across from Thakur College for a long time, so we see the students coming and going all day. Our office is just a corner of the workshop with a couple of chairs and a computer for the accounts. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and some old photos. We just like to get the work done and move on to the next project. It’s a bit dusty and loud here, but that’s just the nature of manufacturing and assembly.
