Electrographics Sign

Our shop is at 100/795 in Goregaon West, and it is pretty easy to find because we are right near the Municipal School. You can hear the kids playing during their break times, which usually tells us exactly what time of day it is without looking at a clock. At Electrographics Sign, we are always surrounded by bits of plastic, metal, and wire. There is usually a machine running in the background, making a humming noise that you eventually stop noticing. The space is a bit cluttered because we have old signs leaning against the walls and scraps of material on the workbenches. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where the work gets done. We spend a lot of time measuring things and trying to get the letters to line up just right. Sometimes the ink smells a bit strong, so we have to keep the door open to let the air circulate. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask for directions because they know we are always here in Goregaon. We aren't a big operation, just a few of us working with our hands and trying to get the orders finished on time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday through Saturday, even when the heat in the shop gets a bit much.
