Commercial Art

Commercial Art is situated at Shop No. 1, right by the Sahar Cargo Road signal. We are in Sahar Village, very close to the Pnt Colony in Andheri East. It’s a very busy intersection with trucks and vans going toward the cargo terminal all day and night. Because of the location, there is always dust and noise, but that’s just how it is around the airport. Our shop is where we do all our painting and design work. It’s not a clean, white-walled studio. There are paint cans, brushes, and rolls of material everywhere. We do a lot of work for the businesses around here. The light coming in from the front door is usually enough, but we have some old tube lights for the late evenings. We’ve been at this signal for a long time, and we’ve seen the roads change and the traffic get worse. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see our sign when they are stuck at the red light and they come in. It’s a practical way to run a business. We handle a lot of different kinds of jobs, from small signs to bigger projects. We just take it one day at a time and try to get the colors right. It’s a bit cramped in the shop sometimes, but we make it work. It’s just a normal workshop where things get made by hand most of the time. It is what it is.
