We are located at 61/62 in Goregaon Shastri Nagar, right on the Link Road. It is easy to find because we are opposite Ajab Nagar and right next to the Ajab Nagar Masjid. You can usually hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a specific rhythm. The shop itself is packed with computers and wide-format printers. There are always rolls of vinyl and scraps of paper lying around the cutting tables. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but we know exactly where the ruler or the craft knife went. The Link Road is always busy, so there is a lot of dust and noise from the cars and rickshaws outside. We spend our time looking at screens, trying to get the lines right or fixing a file that someone brought in on a thumb drive. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes the printer jams right when we are in a hurry, and we have to take the whole thing apart to find a tiny scrap of paper. We work on signs, banners, and all sorts of local graphics. It gets pretty cramped when we have a big order laid out on the floor to dry. We usually grab tea from the stall nearby when we need a break. It is a small team here, just a few of us trying to keep up with the walk-in customers and the phone calls.
