Sufi Neon Sign

We are located at 373 Abdul Rehman Street, inside the Hajji Abdulla Compound. It is right near Navjeevan Society. If you’ve ever walked down Abdul Rehman Street, you know how packed and lively it is. Our workshop for Sufi Neon Sign is a place where there is always some light or glass being worked on. We have bits of neon tubing and transformers all over the place. It’s a bit of a cramped space because the compound is old and there is a lot of stuff stored inside. We spend a lot of time bending glass and checking connections. It’s a very manual process and you have to be careful not to break anything. The noise from the street outside is constant, but inside we just focus on the signs. Sometimes the smell of the workshop is a bit strong from the materials we use. We don't have a big sign ourselves, ironically, just a small space where we get the job done. People come in with their ideas and we see what we can do. It’s not a shiny corporate office. It’s a real workshop with dust and scraps on the floor. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Hajji Abdulla Compound has its own history, and we are just one of the small businesses making a living here. We just keep our heads down and work on the lights.
