Viraj Associates Architects & Interior Designer

Viraj Associates Architects & Interior Designer is based at 302Ghatla Road. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and it’s where we do all our drafting and planning. The office isn’t much to look at, just some desks and a lot of shelves filled with old project files and material swatches. We handle both the architectural side and the interior design, so things can get a bit hectic depending on what stage a project is in. Ghatla Road has a lot going on, but inside we just try to focus on the work. We are a small team, so you usually talk to the same person every time you call. We don't go in for big presentations or fancy brochures. We’d rather just show you a sketch and talk about where the furniture might go or how the light hits the room. Sometimes we spend hours just arguing over which tile looks best under a certain light. It’s that kind of place. We try to be realistic about budgets and timelines because we know how stressful building can be. Things rarely go perfectly in construction, so we just try to stay on top of the details and fix problems as they come up. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We just want to make sure the spaces we design actually work for the people using them. Nothing more complicated than that, really.
