Vinay Ganesh Chitra Ahaada

Vinay Ganesh Chitra Ahaada is based in Dahisar East. We are at number 12, which is where we do most of our daily work. It’s a quiet enough part of the city compared to the main hubs, which suits us just fine. We have been working out of this space for quite a few years now. The shop is full of the things we need to get our work done. It’s not a place that was designed by an architect; it’s just a room that we’ve slowly filled with equipment and supplies as we needed them. We don't have a corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Most of the people who walk in are from the local neighborhood. They know us by name, and we know them too. We don't spend time writing big slogans or putting up fancy posters. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded during the monsoon, but we just wait it out and get back to work as soon as we can. It’s a very local way of doing things. We take pride in the fact that we don't have to pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a small business in Dahisar East trying to make it through the week. It’s nothing more and nothing less than that. We enjoy the routine and the familiar faces.
