Chimans Exim

Chimans Exim operates out of 6 Bharat Mahal on Lajpatrai Road in Vile Parle West. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main stations. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s mostly just desks, a few computers, and lots of shipping documents. Since we are in Vile Parle we get a lot of local foot traffic and people just dropping by to say hello. The building Bharat Mahal is an older one but it’s sturdy and has a lot of character. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and we are right there working. Sometimes we have crates stacked up near the door waiting to go out. It can be a bit of a squeeze. We handle all the export and import details ourselves. It involves a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well and go home at the end of the day. The afternoon sun hits the office quite hard so we keep the blinds down mostly. There’s a good sense of community among the businesses on Lajpatrai Road. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy load or a missing bit of info. It’s a decent place to spend the working day. We don't need much more than our coffee and a bit of silence to get through the files.
