Working out of Matunga 41474 has its own set of challenges and rewards. We spend most of our time dealing with big cooking pots and stacks of chairs. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we’re getting ready for a big setup. The space here is often filled with the smell of whatever is being prepped for the next job. We handle the mandap decorations too, so there’s usually some fabric or wooden frames leaning against the walls. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but it works for us. Our staff has been together for a while and we mostly just get on with things without making much of a fuss. Matunga is a lively area and being here feels right for the kind of work we do. Some days are incredibly long, starting way before the sun is up to get things moved to the site. Other days are slower, spent cleaning gear or checking our inventory of supplies. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where the real work happens. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three things are happening at once, but we manage to sort it out in the end. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily demands of the neighborhood. We’ve been at this for a bit and we know the area well.
