Our office is tucked away in Room No. D - 4 of the Satyaprakash Co-Op Society, which is on Plot No. 41 in Sector 4 of Charkop. Being in a residential society in Kandivali West makes for a different kind of workday than being in a big commercial plaza. It is relatively quiet here, aside from the usual sounds of the neighborhood like kids playing or someone washing their car nearby. We operate out of a single room that we have converted into our workspace. There are shelves along every wall and a couple of tables where we do all the packing and labeling. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we have three people working at once, but we have a system that works for us. We have to be careful with the noise so we don't bother the neighbors who live in the rest of the society. Most of our work is done on the computer or through phone calls, and then we spend the afternoons getting the parcels ready for pickup. Finding our gate can be a little tricky for new delivery guys because all the buildings in Sector 4 look similar, but we usually just go out and meet them at the gate. It is a very grounded way to run a business, right in the heart of where people live. We keep things simple and don't have any big corporate aspirations, just a steady rhythm of daily work.
