Veritas Stainless Co. Pvt. Ltd. is based at Vesco House, No. 48/50 on Carpenter Street- 2nd Road. This is an older part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow and crowded. Our building, Vesco House, is where we keep all our stainless steel inventory. We have pipes, sheets, and various other bits made of steel. It’s heavy stuff, so there is always a lot of clanging and banging going on when we are moving things around. The 2nd Road area is always full of people and carts, making it a bit of a challenge to get around sometimes. Our shop isn't meant for showing off; it is a place for storage and work. We spend our time checking measurements and making sure we have what the customers are asking for. It gets quite hot in the summer with all that metal around, but we just get on with it. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of steel and some hard-working people. We have been on Carpenter Street for a good while now, and we know most of the neighbors. It’s a tight-knit spot and everyone is just trying to get their business done. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple, honest way to run a stainless steel business. We don't have fancy titles or anything, just people who know about steel. Most days we are just busy loading the next order onto a truck.
