You can find Honesty Tools & Hardware right on the ground floor at 91 Nagdevi Cross Lane. It’s a tight space, honestly. Every inch of the walls is covered with something made of metal or plastic. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to reach the top shelves. Nagdevi Cross Lane is one of those places where you really have to watch where you step because there’s always something being loaded. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It might look a bit disorganized to someone else, but we have our own way of finding stuff. We deal with tools all day long. Some customers come in knowing exactly what they need, while others just have a broken part they want to replace. We don't have a website that works right or a fancy logo. We just stay here at number 91 and wait for the day to start. It gets hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't the best on the ground floor. We usually have a fan going, but it mostly just moves the warm air around. Still, it’s home for us. We've seen the shops around us change over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s just a regular hardware shop where work comes first and talk comes second. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings for when the neighbors stop by.
